Neat, wife and I have been hoping to stash one of these on our pre-teen daughter (with her consent, of course) as a way to give her a bit more freedom around town (mostly so my poor wife isn't worrying to death is she's walking with friends after school somewhere).

She has a dumb phone, so no location services from the phone itself for her.

All of the existing Android trackers have big gaps in their functionality (tied to app, or tied to make) and this looks like it'll unite the clans.
